I kept buying other brands of enameled cast iron and hoping they would live up to this one at a lower cost, well, if I would have added up the cost of those I could have bought two of these. I use this pot sometimes several times daily and would recommend it to anyone. The durability is phenomenal, and even the color is amazing, much better than what the picture shows. If you have any concerns over the higher cost of this pan, let me say that it is worth the higher cost, and will save you many of the many years that you own this pot compared to the relatively short life-span of other pots.
