I was looking to add another Nikon flash, either SB-700 or SB-910 but was somewhat dismayed by significant price increase of these new units over previous series of Nikon flashes. Then I saw this unit on Amazon and decided to take a chance to see if it can serve as a serviceable remote slave flash unit.Well, you can't get remote TTL in slave mode, unlike a Nikon flash unit, but it can be used as a manual slave in S2 setting. Has features most flashes that cost much more don't. Using it with a Nikon D60, it's been about a week and I'm really enjoying it so far! 3 of 4 people found the following review helpful By This review is from: Yongnuo YN-467 Flash Speedlite Dedicated E-TTL for Nikon DSLR Cameras (Electronics) Bught this item last summer and used it regularly. The flash tube suddenly 'exploded' and rendered the flash inoperable. I don't think it is worthwhile to repair and would not buy this again.I have the two other YN less complicated units that work great. |
